I barely knew Bryan, but I have been associated with him for a very long time.
Bryan was the best friend of my "almost son" Jake Marbet, and I loved the fact that they enjoyed each other so very much. They were like two excited little boys when they were together. All of us were glad that they had the wonderful relationship of each other.
I loved knowing how much the intensive study program Bryan participated in last year (or was it year before last?) (June 2010-Feb 2011) was a life changing experience, and I got to experience the changes in him.
Bryan and I used to text each other about some things, and I got to know the true goodness of his heart in that way. I know that his love for Laurie and their children exceeded all boundaries, and I was blessed by the knowledge of that beautiful relationship.
I know that the fact the Bryan had to go to heaven when he did isn't something that makes a lot of sense right now, but I pray that someday it will all make sense.
Laurie, sweet love, all of us looked forward to seeing the two of you grow old together, and one of the really hard things to accept is that was not a part of God's plan for you. Please, depend on those of us around you who are needing to know that we could help you right now.
I know that Jake will want to stand behind you, and I know there are many others. You are a precious gift of God, and I love you.
