It was with sadness that I learned of Bryanís untimely death.
Although Bryan and I were associated professionally for only 4 years, I remember him as a police officer who was generous, unselfish and an officer who simply enjoyed life in general.
What I remember most about Bryan was his professionalism.
Bryan was a TRUE PROFESSIONAL, in every sense of the word.
He was a professional who made a POSITIVE difference in the lives of those he touched.
As one of Columbiaís finest for 16 years, I believe Bryanís goal was to make his community a better place to live, and he did.
I, like many, was fortunate to have had the chance to experience Bryan's professional qualities.
He was truly one of the most professional officers I ever had the pleasure of being associated with.
Although Bryan had been out of law enforcement for approximately 4 years, his service to the citizens of Columbia will not be forgotten.
My thoughts and prayers are with the Delk family, friends and coworkers during this difficult time.
